Because the Word of God is Sufficient

Cornerstone Bible Institute exists to set forth Jesus Christ as the "Cornerstone" of life. It is the purpose of CBI to declare and to teach that Christ stands ready to be the life of all those who set their affections on things above (Colossians 3:1-4).

Diligent study of the Word of God with application of God's truth to individual life situations will result in a walk of faith. It is, therefore, the aim of Cornerstone to provide the student with:

• Accurate instruction in the Word of God
• An academic environment compatible with gaining a thorough knowledge of the Word of God
• Guidelines for a standard of conduct to foster personal discipline
• A social atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth
• The opportunity for Christian service on a practical level.

Building Update

We praise the Lord for progress made on our new girl's dorm.   He has supplied finances and workers through the past year that bring us closer to our goal of being operational by August 2009.  The interior is ready for tape, texture and paint and only a few details remain to be finished on the exterior.   It has been exciting to see God provide financially and we wait on Him for the resources to finish this project. Of the $165,000 that has been spent to this point $153,000 has been given by God's people.  Approximately $150,000 is still needed for completion including the two major infrastructure areas of sewer and water.  To complete these two utility projects will require approximately $60,000.  Praise God with us for His provision and please pray with us for His ongoing supply.
